myAir.0

Introducing myAir.0, a revolutionary concept in computer mouse, conceived by our visionary designer and creator, Horace Lam.

Horace Lam

He is a product designer, an inventor, international design award winner, a computer and gadget user.

Driven by his passion for innovation, Horace aims to transform our daily interactions with our environment through space-saving, cutting-edge devices.

For Horace, like many of us, a mouse is an indispensable tool for work. However, he found it cumbersome to carry his mouse while traveling, despite trying various compact models available on the market. Juggling a mouse with a laptop and other items proved inconvenient, and its bulkiness made it an unsightly addition to his travel bag.

Recognising that the basic design of the computer mouse had remained unchanged for decades and was still oriented towards stationary use, Horace saw an opportunity to create something truly innovative. He envisioned a mouse that could transform from a thin, flat form into a robust 3D device, ideal for today's mobile lifestyle.

With this origami-inspired idea, Horace embarked on a journey of re-imagination and redesign. Through numerous prototypes and iterations, he meticulously eliminated unnecessary space, ensuring the mouse remained as thin as possible without compromising on durability and usability. After months of dedication, Horace perfected his design, reinventing the computer mouse for modern users.

In his frustration, Horace realised he wasn't alone in this struggle.

This sparked the question, "Why hasn’t anyone found a better solution?"

Motivated by this challenge, Horace began to rethink the traditional mouse design.

As he ponders on the issue, an idea came to him while he was playing with origami one day.
He thought “how about making a mouse with origami techniques?”
